This project highlights a complete drywall skim coat renovation for a historic interior. Initially, our team stripped the damaged plaster to expose the original wooden lath and framing. Consequently, we installed new moisture-resistant drywall panels to ensure level surfaces and structural integrity.
Furthermore, we applied a professional-grade skim coat across all walls and ceilings. This meticulous process creates a perfectly smooth, glass-like finish ready for final paint. Additionally, we carefully preserved the original dark wood trim and pocket doors to maintain the home’s character. Finally, our craftsmen finished the space with a fresh coat of paint, successfully bridging the gap between vintage charm and modern quality.
